@Nadine's Blog class

Sponsored by Digital Eve. Since Dav is the one who set me up, I actually need to learn the basics.It's great - the room is packed! Lots of bloggers to come (*^_^*)

Did we convince them I wonder? There were a few glazed-over eyes leaving the room...

I would be very interested in class notes. Is it possible to arrange for a copy ? I guess my main questions relate to host sites, FTP-ing photos, storage and archiving.

Let me know. よろしく!

t was really good, now I'm testing to store my pics. I post Nadine's photo, so if you can see her it means that is working.

Hi MJ,

I think it was a great success 大成功だよ. From all the questions, I could almost feel all the ideas being formulated in people's heads about what they wanted to blog about. Personally, I really enjoyed meeting Digital Eve people and look forward to more early evening awamori ; )

Nadine from Tokyo Shoes was the instructor (her site is linked here), so you'll need to contact her about the notes.

Glad you're getting into this. Isn't is fun? Good luck!

Sorry I couldn't be there. I actually paid to have Ben Trott set up MT on my server so I've never done it myself. I have done upgrades on my own though.

MT is so powerful, I'm barely scratching the surface of it.

You need to encourage Nadine to publish a "Blogging for Dummies" version of her class notes.

I`m in the same situation - tried installation of MT myself but `what to put in the cgi bin and what not to` caused me some problems. A friend at work did it for me.

Still in the process of switching from blogger to MT.

I really wanted to go to Nadine`s class, but couldn`t.

The more I learn, the more lucky I feel that Dav totally set me up. But I do feel the need to get my basics straight so I can stand on my own 2 feet. It's great to have a community with which I can explore!

I just saw the write up you did on my class for the DigitalEve newsletter. You did a great job! Thank you. I have just posted the class notes to for those who are interested.
