Can't find anything there that suits your fancy?
I have a recipe for placentatouille, if anyone is interested.
Best served cold with couscous.
Excellent side dish for placenta loaf.
EEeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww
Posted by: Shaun at August 14, 2003 05:15 PMThere is an 'eeww' factor, perhaps because of the cannibalism taboo, but it's not like we're eating Pygmies here. Most maternity wards sell placenta to drug companies to be fed back to us as medicine. And who am I to argue ethics with the medical community?
I'm working on a placenta ceviche recipe, which i think might be quite tasty, problem is, fresh placenta is hard to find. You can't just get it clingwrapped on styrofoam in the local Tokyu grocery, you know.
So if anyone has a fresh placenta or two handy, let me know. You're welcome to dinner, especially if you bring the wine.
sorry, can't stop myself...
EEEEEeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Posted by: Shaun at August 15, 2003 05:51 PMyes, this is all getting eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwyyyyyyyy for me too.
but it was too interesting not to post, ya know?
James, I love your cooking, but won't be trying your ceviche recipe. That's the line for me.
Posted by: Mie at August 15, 2003 06:42 PMSo I guess no one is interested in my Goat Testicle, Ramp Stir-fry recipe?
Placenta sushi?
What exactly DO i have to serve you people to get free wine?
(Oh look, its pouring down rain again. Imagine that.)
