Mother's Day

Came over and made breakfast for mom. Although thanking moms shouldn't be limited to one day a year, I couldn't resist. Brought over lox and cream cheese, and my juicer to make fresh carrot/apple/ginger juice.

your breakfast beats the baba ghanoush out of my breakfast for the mom. i googled "harajuku fashion" because of an impending trip to tokyo and found tokyo tidbits. and here i was thinking those phones were just for taking surreptitious pictures in saunas. yay! thanks for renewing my faith in the future is now.

Locks and cream cheese for breakfast on Mother's Day in Tokyo. We really are living in a global village.

I know...my parents live in a very 'normal' Japanese neighborhood. We were sittin' on the deck one day and 2 missionaries came by and called to us in English. They were from Brooklyn...where my parents used to live. It was so surreal!
