i despise crows

I was jogging around a park when I noticed a gang of crows. Like 20.And in the middle was a cat literally being picked and attacked.I shooed them away but don't know what to do.Some park regulars just told me that the cat stays here even w/ the crows and has been injured before.I can see the crows moving in again. Evil...

The crows are picking at him cos he s not a cat. He s some demon who s inhabiting the cat and it looks like he s chatting with the crows and they are just responding to what he says this way, or they are taking the piss at him and pushing him to leave the cat alone. I m glad you saw your first demon.

Yes, I really abhor crows too~ I recall walking down a typical street lined with houses w/my then-fiance. A crow about 10 meters a head of us swoops up to some powerlines, I'm watching it and as we're getting close to walking under it, it starts to let one fly. I quickly pull her and myself outta harms way and yes, if we didn't move we would have been bombarded. Damn crows.

BTW Mie, since you've been in the US and Japan, do you agree that the crows sound different? I can't get anyone to concur that Japanese crows go "ha haa" and US crows go "ka kaa". What do you think??? I swear I have good hearing... :D

Poor Mr. Whiskers :(.

On a crow-tangent, they've been causing a lot of trouble lately with electrical lines. They build their nests at the top of power polls, like many birds, but lately they've been stealing metal clothes hangars from apartment balconies for mad crow-nest customization. The hangars short out the power lines and screws things up. When the electricians go up to break up the crow nests, the crows attack them. Anyway the crows just rebuild their nests anyway, so it's a futile little game.

Don't know much about US crows...I don't recall really seeing many. Tokyo is just overtaken. It's crazy and they are evil. Whether ha or ka...they are still evil!

Don't say that too loud or GWB will invade Japan after North Korea...

Hi,

Resently I've been going some research on crows, you know their aggressivness. So I've spotted this site, and I'll tell you that in the U.S. (being an American myself) crows are quite less of a problem, and not as aggessive. The problem in my neighbor is some old man breeding pigeons. I swear all they do is poop!

Where the crow goes
No body knows

So, since many of you don't like crows here is a little message from my dark brethren....

Whispers of odium seep out from an ancient clan
Beware the winged messenger in your restful sleep
Their shrieks will shatter the pillars of a god’s world
Scriptures of human love they will destroy and reap

Morbid wails transfix the conduits of mortal souls
From hordes of restless shades that will soon appear
They will lace the earth with dark enchantment
And their deafening screams people will so fear

Before the piercing eyes of a thousand specters
Humans will gather silently over frail ground
Wicked dreams spawned from another world
A dying whimper will be their last sound

Men awaken to the timbre of windswept voices
A grating hum echoes from a seething sky
Women stir from the pitch of severed harmony
It is the black song of when they both will die

Swirling wings soar into a frenzy of vile disdain
Heaven’s isle ebbs in the wake of the torresian crow
They shall rejoice over spires of mortal remains
And eternal pain the humans will come to know

Corvid spells unleashed into sleeping minds
Beckoning cruelty drifts upon a sea of cobalt fire
Sent forth by the temple of Cutting Shadows
Visions of human misery feed their longing desire

Twisted light spilt over temple walls
Lavished in gardens of wicked thyme
Unblinking eyes wait in a bellowing halo
Piercing sounds until the end of time

A veil of loneliness descends over the dammed
Drips of blood fall gracefully over leaves of fawn
Shades perched in the arms of the Black Willow
A thousand crows feast against a crimson dawn

Some of the comments posted here about Crows are mostly complete anthropomorphic garbage.

Crows are not "evil", they are resourceful creatures that have the capacity to learn and will investigate their environment to the full in their search for food.

The cat that was being attacked is a recognised predator and they were simply mobbing it as they would do with a fox, owl etc.
