I can't believe this

I've been super busy with work...a lot of deadlines from different projects came crashing together...and I'm slated to leave on business next week...so yeah, I'm a bit stressed.

I'm going to Cambodia and Thailand. The first time for me and I'm absolutely psyched. I had added some free days in Cambodia and am staying through the weekend in Thailand. But you know what?? I HAVE to be in the office on Monday so it turns out I'll be in Phnom Penh for ONE day!!!!!! Can you believe that? Luckily I still have my weekend in Bangkok and on my way over I have one night in Hong Kong so I'll get to see an old college friend. But this is all quite frustrating.

Needless to say, I won't be able to post pics during the week while I'm gone since my phone doesn't work overseas. That'll be my next upgrade.

Oh yeah, any comments on the color change? I'm wondering if it hurts your eyes...I'm still getting used to it and haven't decided if I should keep it that way. Or should I do monthly colors?

I don't like the new color very much. What was the color before? Was it not white? Keep it simple.

Anyway, the color of my homepage is worse. Good luck in Hong Kong, Phom Penh,.......

I -love- the new color. It seems to make the pictures stand out more! And I think your idea of monthly colors is brilliant! I love variety! =)

I kinda like the colour. And I like the idea of a monthly colour. Feelin' blue? Blue site. Super Summer Happy? Sunflower yellow! Going skiing? Alpine white. I think that would be cool.

Although I'm a nut for blue, the gray hue that you are presently using is hard on the eye and does not make the type particularly easy to read.

Alternating colors might be helpful to frequent visitors. In any event, I'd reccommend much lighter hues.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I actually like the idea of changing colors according to season and mood. With the war looming and N. Korea's bombs, maybe I should use some major black now...

The new color reminds me of my grandma's bathroom; mauve. That sounds negative, but if you've ever been in grandma's bathroom, you'd know it's like stepping into a mysterious new dimension (of towel cozies and plush-animal bath-scrubbies).

I think it's a good idea to mix things up, but I wouldn't go mood-ring crazy with always changing colors.

Keep blogging,
Ian

Thoughts of Tokyo lead me to the Chuo line,
Wondering if the delay is due to a good, albeit morbid friend of mine.

Could it be Armageddon that he's contemplating again?
Five, six, seven... How many times have we descended into the depths of hell - maybe it's ten.

We both smell the flames aburnin'
Seeing the flickering light now sets my stomach achurnin'

THE FUTURE IS NOW

Yeah, my stomach is churning too...

I think I'll leave this color for a bit more, then change...I'll be careful not to go too crazy with changing colors...but I think it might be nice to surprise regulars every once in while. It'll be interesting to hear reactions...never thought this color would remind Ian of grandma! : )
