Friday with Tatsuo

I went out to dinner w/ Tatsuo tonight. He works for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & has a beautiful heart (but busy too). We went to an Italian theme place that had lotsa atmosphere - even did those American Bday celebration services & sang Happy Bday in English. Now @ B4 1am I have to line up for a cab.An international city where the public trans. closes @ 12:30!Tatsuo & I have decided to run a marathon together next year. Uh oh o(^-^)o

Hi Lorenzo,
That's great feedback. I love food and am more than happy to share what I find - I just didn't want to bore people. But the food in Japan is sooooo good!

Thanks!

My gf also lives in Tokyo, and I, in SF... I don't know how you do it, but I cannot handle the stress anymore of a long D...

However I will be in tokyo in a few months *hopefully*

Love your site...!!!!

Hey Mie,
I see you're getting great feedback...
Your post on the dinner is a little bijou.
The one you guys are cheering is excellent.
A wonderfull moblog.
One really interesting character I notice is that most picts are taken inside or by night. It s not a surprise as it is winter and gets drak quickly and also as we lead crazy working lives everywhere but also in Tokyo. I also have troubles making day light pics during the week. I guess the pics convey a lot of atmosphere because of that. I mean, it is a "character" of your life that is shown by the pics too and not just "dinner". Have you been wondering about it too? Do you feel urged to take more "daylight" pics? Do you regret not having more time to take some?
A few open questions. ;-)
Take care!

Hi Mie-chan!

How have you been? I hope everything is so well for you! Guess what who I am? Yes, This is Takao! I just checked your HP and found my best friends' pictures. It looks like you had a nice fan time. I wish I could join....
I am doing good even though it is a bit busy with my classes. I think Tatsuo has a business trip to San Diego soon, so I am hoping that I can see him there. Anyway, it might be still cold in Japan. Good luck with everything! please take care! Takao

Andre,
I can't believe there are 2 couples doing this crazy distance thing! Are we crazy? Well, Dav is worth is and we're patiently trying to figure out a solution...luckily plane tickets aren't $3000 (like when my parents first got married and my Japanese mom flew over to NY for the first time) and luckily we got gadgets like phones and blogs! Yeah!

Paul, interesting observation. I actually work a lot during the day and I'm kind of boring. Most of my fun wacky stuff is at night and it's frustrating at how bad my pics come out then. But now that spring is in the air, I shall be taking walks during the weekend days : )

Buttchan! Thanks for stopping by! Tatsuo and I have fun hanging together...next time you're back we'll have to have another reunion...Good luck with your studies.
